Whether you know me as Ris or Marisa, I’m glad you’re alive and glad you’re here – welcome!
I write and share articles here on subjects such as body image, the body positivity movement, and mental health, but I also create videos performing my original poetry as a character called Fairy Godmother on social media.
While the majority of my work revolves around body and self acceptance, I occasionally share journalistic pieces here as well given my educational background.
